 Dancing is Good in the Piney Woods TSFSRD 56th Annual Festival 

East Texas Square and Round Dance Assoc will be hosting the TSFSRD (Texas State Federation of Square and Round Dancers) Annual Festival. Location: Harvey Convention Center, May 31 - June 2... all three nightly dances will start at 7:00 p.m. till 10:00 p.m.  Saturdayworkshops throughout the evening.  

Square dancing is a clean, family oriented, alcohol and smoke free, FUN activity and entertainment for the whole family from ages teens to nonagenarian... YES SIR!!!! We have square dancers in their 80's and 90's square dancing.. Keeps Everyone Young at Heart.  You can travel from far east to west to south to north of Texas and the whole USA and so many other countries meeting new friends, new family and square and round dancing events.  

You will have the opportunity to meet the President of the Federation, Nora Creed-McClaskey, Vice President Preston and Carolyn Smith, Treasurer Keith and Kathie Malone,  Secretary EW and Alta Sweeney, and East Texas SRDA Wayne and Martha Patton from Jacksonville, TX and many...many more dancers. 

Free admission to the public/non-square dancers .  Everyone is welcome to come and watch.. If you are interested in square or round dance lessons, please contact  any officer or square dancer... You will learn how to "swing your partner", "spin chain the gears".... many more moves
